Prosper en est le tr\u00e9sorier depuis bient\u00f4t 10 ans et l&#8217;un des fondateurs. Professionnel de l\u2019aide au d\u00e9veloppement, il est aussi responsable r\u00e9gional du Fond Ha\u00eftien d\u00b4Aide \u00e0 la Femme depuis 2007. Mais c\u2019est en tant que b\u00e9n\u00e9vole qu\u2019il est l\u2019un des responsables de l\u2019Ojucah. Avec sa voix de baryton et son charisme enjou\u00e9, Prosper \u00e9voque ici l&#8217;\u00e9volution de son association, dont le travail avec les habitants de communes rurales de La Vall\u00e9e et Bainet est de plus en plus reconnue dans le Sud-est d&#8217;Ha\u00efti.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"dt-fancy-separator title-left h3-size accent-title-color\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><div class=\"dt-fancy-title\"><span class=\"separator-holder separator-left\"><\/span>Natif natal !<span class=\"separator-holder separator-right\"><\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p lang=\"es-ES\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">\u00ab\u00a0Je suis de la communaut\u00e9, je fais partie de la communaut\u00e9, je suis all\u00e9 \u00e0 l\u00b4\u00e9cole de la communaut\u00e9. La maison de ma grand-m\u00e8re se trouve \u00e0 quelques pas du bureau de l\u2019Ojucah\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb (Organisation des Jeunes Universitaires de Carrefour pour l\u00b4Avancement d\u00b4Ha\u00efti). Prosper est un <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\"><i>natif natal<\/i><\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">, comme on dit en Ha\u00efti. Mais La Vall\u00e9e est une commune rurale et isol\u00e9e qui offre peu de perspectives d\u2019avenir pour les jeunes. \u00ab\u00a0Apr\u00e8s nos \u00e9tudes primaires, tous les jeunes nous sommes partis \u00e0 Port-au-Prince parce qu\u2019\u00e0 cette \u00e9poque-l\u00e0, il n\u00b4y avait pas d\u00b4\u00e9cole secondaire ici.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"dt-fancy-separator title-left h3-size accent-title-color\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><div class=\"dt-fancy-title\"><span class=\"separator-holder separator-left\"><\/span>\u00ab Il faut que \u00e7a change ! \u00bb<span class=\"separator-holder separator-right\"><\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-FR\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">\u00ab\u00a0Pendant les vacances, on retournait dans la zone, on s\u00b4amusait entre nous, mais on avait pris conscience que la situation de notre communaut\u00e9 se d\u00e9gradait encore.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"es-ES\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">L\u00e0 o\u00f9 se trouve le bureau de l\u2019Ojucah, il n\u00b4y avait plus un seul arbre. A perte de vue, les collines \u00e9taient d\u00e9nud\u00e9es et devenaient st\u00e9riles. On s&#8217;est dit \u00ab\u00a0c\u00b4est pas possible, il faut que \u00e7a change\u00a0!\u00a0\u00bb C\u00b4est important de faire quelque chose de plus s\u00e9rieux, en tan<\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">t que jeunes de la communaut\u00e9. On a alors d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de se mettre ensemble, de se r\u00e9unir, et c\u00b4est l\u00e0 que nous avons cr\u00e9\u00e9 le Comit\u00e9 des jeunes de Lavial, l&#8217;organisation ant\u00e9rieure \u00e0 l\u2019Ojucah \u00bb. C&#8217;\u00e9tait il y a plus de 20 ans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-FR\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">Les projets de d\u00e9veloppement commencent alors \u00e0 \u00e9merger et les id\u00e9es se concr\u00e9tisent, comme l\u2019acc\u00e8s \u00e0 l\u2019eau potable pour les habitants. Malgr\u00e9 le scepticisme de certains. \u00ab\u00a0Le maire de la Vall\u00e9e de l\u2019\u00e9poque se moquait de nous. Il disait que nous \u00e9tions des r\u00eaveurs, que nous allions apporter de l&#8217;eau dans des bambous. Mais en moins de deux ans, des gens de Lavial avaient d\u00e9j\u00e0 de l\u00b4eau qui coulait dans leurs robinets\u00a0! \u00bb<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<style type=\"text\/css\" Dans un pays o\u00f9 le d\u00e9boisement a atteint un niveau tr\u00e8s grave pour l\u2019agriculture, l\u2019environnement et les risques li\u00e9s aux inondations et aux cyclones, l\u2019Ojucah revendique pas moins d\u2019un million d\u2019arbres plant\u00e9s\u00a0!<\/span>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"dt-fancy-separator title-left h3-size accent-title-color\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><div class=\"dt-fancy-title\"><span class=\"separator-holder separator-left\"><\/span>Des actions de plus en plus ambitieuses<span class=\"separator-holder separator-right\"><\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-FR\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">Selon Prosper, le projet Action pour l&#8217;Habitat (APH) apporte un nouveau souffle aux actions de l\u2019Ojucah et \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9. Particuli\u00e8rement la formation de <i>b\u00f2s<\/i>, artisans et artisanes sp\u00e9cialis\u00e9s dans la construction, ou encore d\u2019expertes en permaculture. \u00ab\u00a0Avec le projet qu\u00b4on r\u00e9alise ensemble ces derni\u00e8res ann\u00e9es, le plus important est qu\u00b4on a form\u00e9 plusieurs personnes. Cela permet \u00e0 la communaut\u00e9 de progresser un peu plus du point de vue \u00e9conomique. En les aidant \u00e0 trouver un m\u00e9tier, non pas un m\u00e9tier pr\u00e9caire mais un m\u00e9tier pour la vie, les jeunes femmes et les jeunes hommes apprennent quelque chose d\u00b4utile \u00e0 toute la communaut\u00e9 et peuvent faire leur vie ici. \u00c7a c\u00b4est un pas important.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-FR\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">\u00ab\u00a0Nous avons aussi de grands espoirs avec les projets de construction que nous menons ensemble\u00a0\u00bb, rench\u00e9rit Prosper. \u00ab\u00a0Jusque-l\u00e0 nous avions construit 10 maisons, puis 6 prototypes. Au niveau de la communaut\u00e9, c\u00b4est comme une goutte d\u00b4eau vers\u00e9e mais qui ne donne ni le go\u00fbt ni la couleur dans un r\u00e9cipient&#8230; Le nouvel objectif, c&#8217;est la construction et la r\u00e9habilitation de maisons pour plus de 100 familles\u00a0! C\u00b4est quelque chose de tr\u00e8s ambitieux. Pour nous, cette ann\u00e9e parait comme une goutte d\u00b4eau plus fra\u00eeche.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p>[\/vc_column_text]<div class=\"dt-fancy-separator title-left h3-size accent-title-color\" style=\"width: 100%;\"><div class=\"dt-fancy-title\"><span class=\"separator-holder separator-left\"><\/span>Une organisation plus solide et autonome<span class=\"separator-holder separator-right\"><\/span><\/div><\/div>[vc_column_text]<\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-FR\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">\u00ab\u00a0Avec le projet Action pour l&#8217;Habitat, d\u2019une part nous faisons des choses positives pour la communaut\u00e9 et d\u2019autre part, comme organisation, nous nous formons et nous apprenons \u00e0 faire mieux que les ann\u00e9es pr\u00e9c\u00e9dentes.\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-FR\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">L\u2019Ojucah continue de progresser gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 l\u2019exp\u00e9rience acquise avec chaque nouvelle action, chaque chantier, chaque phase du projet. C&#8217;est aussi gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la richesse des partenariats multi-pays, une des cl\u00e9s du projet APH. \u00ab On se dit qu\u00b4on fait l\u2019exp\u00e9rience d\u2019une p\u00e9riode vraiment int\u00e9ressante \u00bb s\u2019enthousiasme Prosper. \u00ab Les techniciens de l\u2019Ojucah ont beaucoup appris gr\u00e2ce aux formations, sur les techniques de construction en mat\u00e9riaux naturels, le suivi de chantier, le diagnostic social, etc. C\u2019est aussi le partage d\u2019exp\u00e9riences qui nous fait \u00e9voluer. Par exemple, Habitat-Cit\u00e9 nous a conseill\u00e9s sur la gestion des mat\u00e9riaux, nous a incit\u00e9s \u00e0 acheter le plus localement possible. On a trouv\u00e9 de nouvelles fili\u00e8res et nos projets y gagnent beaucoup. Travailler avec un partenaire nous permet de grandir et de devenir une organisation plus solide et autonome \u00bb.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-FR\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">\u00ab Nous autres, dans l\u00b4Ojucah, notre promotion, notre g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, nous avons tous conscience d\u00b4avancer, de faire quelque chose de bien pour la communaut\u00e9. Nos parents, nos familles, tous nos proches vivent ici. C\u2019est pour soulager leurs conditions de vie que nous nous sommes investis au d\u00e9part. Alors nous sommes vraiment contents de faire ce que l\u00b4on fait. Il faut les encourager sinon, apr\u00e8s la disparition de notre g\u00e9n\u00e9ration, tout va tomber \u00e0 l\u00b4eau. Transmettre aux autres, c\u2019est important. Il faut que des jeunes soient l\u00e0 pour prendre la rel\u00e8ve et continuer avec la population\u00a0\u00bb, affirme Prosper.<\/p>\n<p lang=\"es-ES\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">\u00ab\u00a0Dans le projet, je suis comme un messager, un messager actif. Je suis toujours b\u00e9n\u00e9vole et, m\u00eame si j&#8217;ai des indemnit\u00e9s en tant que tr\u00e9sorier depuis 2019, je vis uniquement de mon salaire au FHAF (Fond Ha\u00eftien d\u00b4Aide \u00e0 la Femme). Mais sur le plan personnel, c\u2019est tr\u00e8s positif pour moi\u00a0; je me sens fier de participer, de contribuer \u00e0 ce que les choses s\u2019am\u00e9liorent pour la communaut\u00e9. D\u2019aider les autres.\u00a0\u00bb<\/span><\/p>\n<p lang=\"fr-FR\" align=\"JUSTIFY\">\u00ab\u00a0Aujourd\u2019hui notre travail est vraiment reconnu et ce que nous savons, ce que nous avons appris, nous le partageons avec d\u2019autres organisations et avec les habitants d\u2019autres communaut\u00e9s. Par exemple, on a organis\u00e9 l\u00b4ann\u00e9e pass\u00e9e deux conf\u00e9rences d\u00e9bats qui r\u00e9unissaient des gens de Bainet, de la Vall\u00e9e et m\u00eame de Jacmel. Etre partenaire d&#8217;organisations internationales nous donne une cr\u00e9dibilit\u00e9 suppl\u00e9mentaire, mais ce sont nos r\u00e9sultats concrets qui parlent plus que tout\u00a0! Notre r\u00e9gion est plus belle qu\u2019avant. Et bien moins pauvre&#8230;\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n<p lang=\"es-ES\" align=\"JUSTIFY\"><span lang=\"fr-FR\">\u00ab\u00a0J\u2019ai une image en t\u00eate\u00a0: Mme Orianie. Gr\u00e2ce au projet <\/span><span lang=\"fr-FR\">APH, on a pu reconstruire sa vieille maison qui s\u2019\u00e9croulait. Maintenant sa maison est tr\u00e8s jolie, toute propre, avec l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9, et elle peut s\u2019amuser avec ses enfants le soir. Et Mme Orianie, si tu la vois aujourd&#8217;hui, elle para\u00eet beaucoup plus jeune qu\u2019avant\u00a0!
